Hellooo everyone! Welcome back to the Bright Abyss!

Sorry for the long hiatus, but building a quality website takes quality time. (just kidding. I’ve been swamped with day projects). A big thank you to Harley Abbot of Expand Designs. He did a wonderful job creating and setting up the flipbook app for my comics. I cannot wait to do a full two-page panel with it.

Before the website went under construction, I had planned to post the final chapters of Adder Kiss Volume 1 before October was over. So here you go, all of Adder’s Kiss Vol. 1 is posted online, separated into three flipbooks. I took the extra time to do two variant cover of the original cover. I do not think I will be using this scheme for future covers, but hot damn! Did I nail it the first three times!

I really want to make an Adder’s Kiss Volume 2, but we’ll see what happens the beginning of next year. It’s definitely my fall back plan. I really wanna illustrate the full gang war. Because you know the snake sisters and the townsfolk are gonna go full Rambo on Barden and his men.

I am going to wrap up this rubbish of a year to create a short comic about the “creation of the bright abyss.” I had so much fun working with Harley that we created this cosmic theme out of my original Bright Abyss logo. And I thought, why not make an origin story for her and the website, a summation of what these stories represent in the long run: horror, happy decline, existential crisis, and divine perseverance.
